It all started with a Reddit AMA. Bette Midler was on the popular site answering fans’ questions, when one fan brought up the classic 1993 Disney flick, Hocus Pocus. And here’s where Bette makes all our dreams come true, because the actress revealed that she’s already in when it comes to Hocus Pocus 2.
“You have to go to send in your cards to the Walt Disney company,” she wrote. “The ball’s in their court.”
But what about Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker, who costarred alongside Bette in the film as her adorably wacky witch sisters? Well, it turns out they’ve already considered the idea, too.
“Inundate the Disney company, because I have canvassed the girls and they are wiling to do it, but we have no say in it, so if you want a HOCUS POCUS 2, ask the Walt Disney company,” Midler added. “You have been SO adorable. This has been most enlightening. SISTAHS!”

It’s not all that surprising, really. We already knew how much Bette Midler adores the beloved movie, especially after she brought it up in an interview with E!! News recently while promoting her new album, It’s the Girls!
“I actually think it’s the best thing I ever did,” Bette said of the movie. “I mean I’ve done a lot of stuff. I’ve done a lot in my life. I’m very proud of certain roles that I’ve played.”
Well, guys, now’s our chance. It’s time to write to Disney until we can write no more, because Hocus Pocus 2 is at stake!
