It’s official: Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge are coming back to the USA! Royal protocol dictates that they’ll have to bow and curtsy to our Queen Beyoncé, right?
While the rumor of a royal visit to New York City has been floating around for a couple of months, Clarence House finally confirmed the trip today on Twitter.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit the USA between 7th and 9th December 2014

6 Places we want to see Will and Kate visit on their trip to NYC
Among a myriad of charitable and governmental engagements, Will and Kate will make time for a super-fun evening at a basketball game.
“On Monday evening, Their Royal Highnesses will attend an NBA Basketball game to help launch a new collaboration between the Royal Foundation, United for Wildlife and the NBA,” Clarence House said.
While the press release did not specify which NBA team would be graced with the royals’ presence (NYC has two, after all) we are keeping our fingers crossed that it will be a Brooklyn Nets game so the future King and Queen of England can meet the current monarch of America, Queen Bey.
Which raises a couple of important questions: Would Will and Kate have to bow down to Beyoncé since she is a queen, and they are merely duke and duchess? Do Will and Kate understand that Beyoncé holds possibly more power than their granny Queen Elizabeth?
