It’s all aboard for the New Kids on the Block after their new reality series gets a premiere date six months after the TV Guide Network’s Rock This Boat announcement was made.

NKOTB will be setting sail on Jan. 14, 2015 with their brand-new show that will take place aboard a cruise ship. The series will chronicle the group’s five-day journey with about 3,000 fans from New York to Bermuda.

“Every year, my bandmates and I go on a cruise with 3,000 of our wildest and most adoring fans,” NKOTB’s Donnie Wahlberg said. “For the first time ever, we’re gonna take you behind the scenes to see what it’s like. Three thousand fans, 20 cameras — that equals a whole lot of potential chaos.”

The show will debut with a one-hour premiere that promises to be a wild ride into a crazy trip full of insane fans. The NKOTB annual cruise trips are so popular that they sell out way before they even have a sail date. The waiting list is in the thousands and some have to wait years until they can book their trip with the group.

The boy band (or now, man band), made up of Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Danny Wood and Wahlberg, has been enjoying these trips long after their initial success in the ’80s and ’90s. Their famous classic hits include “I’ll be Loving You (Forever)” and “Step by Step.”

To make the wait easier until the show airs in January, you can see a Meet the Castaways special with the members of NKOTB on Monday, Nov. 24 at 8/7c, and an ET December special as well that will feature the history of the band from the time they first became famous in the 1980s.
