Steve Carell singing ‘Shake it Off’ is the cutest thing you’ll see today

Taylor Swift may be the most successful artist of the year, but she finds herself in awe of other artists. Actor Steve Carell paid Swift a big compliment by singing her song during an interview.

The actor was being interviewed about his newest film, Foxcatcher, and was asked by ABC’s Peter Travers a deep question about who he is.

“I want to know the music that’s in your head,” Travers said. “I just want a snippet of what’s going on in there.”

Without an answer, Carell began singing Swift’s song, “Shake It Off.” Even better, the comedian kept a straight face the entire time.

“I love it. I actually love Taylor Swift,” Carell admitted when his rendition was over. “I think she’s great.”

“Now, there’s a confession,” Travers replied. “That’s the movie I want to see.”

Swift is a big star, but that doesn’t mean the compliment from Carell didn’t completely blow her mind. The singer tweeted a response to the video, sounding like she may have been screaming like a giddy 12-year-old girl.
