Basic Instinct actress Sharon Stone has reportedly been left heartbroken after the unexpected loss of one of her family members.

According to Radar Online, the actress’ beloved nephew, Colin Stone, has died from a suspected heroin overdose.
It is a truly heartbreaking story, and the publication reports that Colin, who is the son of Stone’s brother Michael Stone, was found dead in his apartment in Hollywood, California, on Nov. 10. The website also said that according to Ed Winter of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office, he was found “during a welfare check by his apartment manager.”
“His death was recorded as a possible overdose, pending toxicology reports,” Winter added.

According to Radar Online, a source revealed to them that Stone got the devastating news when she was filming Life on the Line with John Travolta — an action-drama film due for release in 2015.
The source reportedly also told the site that Colin’s father, Michael, had a history with drugs, but he got on the straight and narrow, thanks to the help of his sister, and after he served two years in jail for “possession of a kilo of cocaine.”
“Years ago, she helped Colin’s dad — her brother, Michael — get his life back on track after serving time for selling [drugs],” the source told Radar Online, adding, “Michael was able to escape a life of drugs. Unfortunately, his son was not so lucky.”
