CT Tamburello and 8 other tributes to Diem Brown that will make you cry

We’re still super sad about the passing of MTV‘s Diem Brown, so it’s hard to wrap our heads around the pain of those who were close to her.

Christina Applegate’s battle with cancer: 7 Things you probably forgot

Brown, who died last week after bravely battling three rounds of cancer, was loved by many and it didn’t take long for her friends to start sharing their moving words about her life and the way it affected them. There was no response from her long-time on-again, off-again love, CT Tamburello, until today.

Tamburello posted a picture of Brown, whose real first name was Danielle, on her prayer card, a rosary and a ring on Instagram. “You have always been my angel,” he wrote in the caption. “And now you have your wings. We’ve been thru so much over the years. Thru the the ups and downs we somehow managed to keep our promise. We never gave up on each other. Our plan to be together forever hasn’t changed… it’s just gonna take a little longer now. And I’m gonna hold on to this ring for you till we are together again. So don’t worry mama, I’m not afraid. I know you will always be with me to give me your strength. You are The Love of My Life. My reason to be a better man. I Love You Always and Forever.”

Wow. After that one, are you ready for more? Here are some more tearjerkers celebrating Brown.

3 Life lessons learned from Diem and CT’s romance

Cara Maria Sorbello, a fellow MTV cast mate and one of Brown’s closest friends, posted a video of her laughing, smiling pal in the hope that it will be the way she is remembered. “All my love,” Sorbello wrote. “Thank you Diem for reaching out to a lonely weirdo for a thanksgiving meal all those years ago. You changed my life more than you could ever know. I will pass along your kindness in your honor. Love you. You are and always will be a Warrior.”

E! News correspondent, Alicia Quarles, who was with Brown in her last days, posted a gorgeous photo of Brown with a touching caption. “You and I will never end,” she wrote. “You are my true, dear love.”
