On Monday night, officials announced that a grand jury had decided not to indict the police officer responsible for the death of an unarmed teen in Ferguson, Missouri, last summer.
T.I. talks Ferguson: “America has created a monster”
Eighteen-year-old Michael Brown was shot and killed by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson in August. Riots followed in the small Missouri town, where racial tension has a deeply rooted history, especially between police and citizens.
Many called for the officer to stand trial, but the grand jury’s Monday decision means no probable cause has been found to charge Wilson with a crime, and, subsequently, there will be no trial.
The announcement of the grand jury’s decision led to protests nationwide and violent riots in Ferguson, where protesters flipped and burned police cars, broke store windows and looted at liquor stores and gas stations. The situation was still developing on Monday night and looked like it could continue to escalate overnight.
The controversial decision and its announcement had many talking on social media, and celebrities were no exception to that. Below, see some of the angriest, most disappointed celeb tweets to follow the announcement in Ferguson.

Our thoughts are with all those involved in this case and those in Ferguson and surrounding towns who may be affected by dangerous protests.
ONLY 1 BULLET WOUND WAS SUSTAINED AT CLOSE RANGE. HE WAS UNARMED, 153 FT FROM THE CAR. HOW IS THAT NOT WORTHY OF A PUBLIC SCRUTINY?

If you're not paying attention to #Ferguson right now you are privileged enough to not have to care.

So irresponsible to read this verdict at night like this. St. Louis will be a negative image for the next several days

Just take a moment & have a little think about how familiar us Americans have all gotten with injustice. Last week. Last month. Last year.

the D.A never represented the people properly. He never wanted an indictment. violent ones in the streets are likely those who didn't vote
