Toronto International Film Festival: SheKnows dishes on the good, the bad and the ugly!

The ugly

Traffic

For the past few years, getting to and from festival locations in Yorkville has been nearly impossible thanks to never-ending construction along Bloor Street West. On top of the Yorkville-traffic predicament, there was the added problem of getting into the downtown core through layers of construction for premieres at theatres along King Street West. It was even a problem getting to the unveiling of the TIFF Bell Lightbox (the festival’s new headquarters). Note to the City of Toronto: plan construction season for a time when celebs and tourists aren’t flocking to the city for this world-renowned fest.
