Kris Humphries is not a happy camper post-Kim Kardashian divorce, and now he wants to take a lookie-look into their financial records for the duration of the 72-day marriage.
Oh, love… Isn’t it the best? Not always, evidently. If you remember, a little while back Kim Kardashian married NBA star Kris Humphries and got a divorce 72 days later.
You’d think the letter “K” would keep these two together. Alas, no.
Since then, the drama has been breeding at bunny rates, and now we have one more story to add to the hefty pile. Ex-hubby Kris Humphries filed a “Notice of Fiduciary Duty and Remedies for the Breach of the Fiduciary Duty,” requesting an inquiry into the financial records of all transactions during the short-lived marriage.
It’s a pretty standard procedure but not usually filed through the court. It should be sent to the recipient as a notice, and if the duty is breached, then the lawyers are hollered into court.
“Most people don’t need to be reminded of this. I have never seen anyone file this with the court. Filing with the court means that they are trying to tell the whole world that there is something going on here… but it is absolutely utter nonsense,” family law expert Alexandra Leichter told E! News.
Oh, Humphries… Everyone wants a little slice of the Kimmy pie. It has been proven that pelting flour is a surefire method to get her attention — why bother with the courts at all?
But wait, there’s more… According to reports, Kim-Kim’s act of charity to donate the money from the wedding gifts may also be a no-no, because “a spouse may not make a gift of community personal property, or dispose of community personal property for less than fair and reasonable value, without the written consent of the other spouse.”
As the kids say, LOL. Kardashian just can’t catch a break, even in an act of kindness. The lesson here is this: Do not get married for 72 days. Godspeed!
