Well, we did not see this coming. Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, resident of the Jersey Shore reality show, has signed a deal for his own comic book series based on… well, himself.
This all makes sense. When you think of JerseyShore’s Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, you think, “Oh man, that guy is like Batman or Captain America,” right?
Maybe, if ridiculously carved abs and hair gel could save the world…
Nonetheless, Wizard World Inc. announced that The Sitch has signed a publishing deal to create a superhero and comic book based on the reality star and his family.
Is this for realsies? Yes. People, it’s time to retreat to the woods. The literary world — be it novels or comic books — is going down the pooper.
“MPS Entertainment and I are thrilled and excited about our new business relationship with Wizard World. I grew up reading comic books, and now I get a chance to star in my own. I can’t wait for everyone to see what we are working on,” the star stated.
The comic books will be written and drawn by the industry’s leading professionals.
“Wizard World is excited to partner with one of pop culture’s greatest stars. Mike ‘The Situation’ and his family will broaden our relationships with celebrities to new areas that leverage our access to the media, the fans, and especially our ability to bring comic book characters to life,” said John Macaluso, CEO of Wizard World.
There ye have it. Are you excited to see The Sitch wearing some tights and a cape? Sharesies.
