No, not Leon or Leona… Welcome to the world, Dixie Pearl Followill! She was born yesterday in Nashville, measuring 22 inches and weighing in at 7 pounds.
“Mom, Dad and baby are happy, healthy and enjoying their new addition,” the couple’s rep told People magazine.
So, now… We love us some babies, but Dixie Pearl? Sounds like a brand of dishwasher liquid or a family-owned dairy farm. Caleb, Lily and Dixie? Almighty Zeus, why must you test us like this?
There should be a list of banned baby names, which should include Apple and Moses (sorry, Gwynnie), Goliath, Dixie and anything else of the same suit.
