Y’all will have to wait. Lady Gaga has decided to cancel the rest of her tour after discovering a hip injury that will need immediate surgery. The songstress plans to take time off to recover.
Alas, Lady Gaga is not invincible!
The songstress cancelled the remainder of her Born This Way Ball tour, after postponing four shows due to an injury. So what happened?
“After additional tests this morning to review the severity of the issue, it has been determined that Lady Gaga has a labral tear of the right hip,” stated Live Nation’s press release. “She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover. This unfortunately, will force her to cancel the tour so she can heal.”

Initially Gaga cancelled her concerts in Chicago, Detroit and Hamilton, Ontario, but now the rest of her tour is gone too. Refunds are available for the cancelled shows, starting today.
As to the injury, labrum is the cartilage surrounding the socket part of ball-and-socket joints, and if injured, can cause severe pain as well as limited movement capabilities. In Gaga’s case, she probably injured it during one of her elaborate performances, but surgery should help manage it.
We wish her a speedy recovery! Opinions?
