Taylor Swift has enough awards to build her very own Olympic-sized stadium, and the songstress is yet again the leading nominee at this year’s American Country Awards.
We would like to pretend that this is surprising, but it really isn’t.
Taylor Swift and her magical guitar are top nominees at this year’s American Country Awards (ACA). But we should have seen this coming; the 23-year-old singer dominates almost every musical genre out there!
During the Tuesday press release, ACA announced that Swift is leading the pack with eight nominations. Blake Shelton and Florida Georgia Line are next in line, with seven nods each.
Whoa! Did Lorde diss Taylor Swift? >>
Fun fact: Taylor Swift is the only musician to be nominated for the Artist of the Year category every year since the American Country Awards were first founded in 2010. Yes, she’s only 23 years old.
The results of the award show are fan-voted, and it will be broadcast on Dec. 10 from Las Vegas. This year’s ceremony is hosted by Danica Patrick and singer Trace Adkins.
Since we’re on topic of Taylor Swift, her musical abilities and her award hording… Because really, she’s not even giving anyone else a chance! Thus far Swift has received a total of 179 various awards. Based on the number of nominations she has been honoured with versus the number of times she has won, Taylor has an 82-per-cent success rate.
She has won seven Grammys and remains the youngest artist to win in the Album of the Year category. Swift has received four awards from Academy of Country Music, 11 from American Music Awards, 12 awards from Billboard Music… Shall we go on?

Statistically speaking, the other nominees at the American Country Awards have almost no ray of hope! Taylor Swift is a dominating force of musical talent, and there’s nothing anyone can do about it. She’s growing stronger as we speak.
We wonder if the scales will be tipped in someone else’s honour this time around, but we’ll just have to wait until Dec. 10 to find out. Who will you be rooting for this year?
