The Hunger Games have really raised the stakes with this film. The Mockingjay — Part 1 trailer is out and it is as intense as it is awesome. A definite must-watch.

Oh, thank the almighty Zeus! Lionsgate scared the living daylights out of us for a hot second there when it released a teaser of the teaser for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1. It was literally 13 seconds long — the most underwhelming “trailer” in history. Fear not though, the full trailer has now been released and it’s as epic as we dreamt it would be.

First of all, can we all acknowledge Jennifer Lawrence‘s divine beauty? Every time she shows up on screen, we are possessed with the wish to build her an altar. And throw rose petals at her. Is that weird? Let’s move on.

Second of all, wasn’t that such a diabolically magnificent trailer? Some big battles, drama, romance and the film’s trademark flawless soundtrack. Without giving away spoilers, this movie is the grand beginning of the end with several characters readying to bite the dust, but we won’t tell you who (read the books!). As a side note, are we the only ones impressed that Katniss (Lawrence) can down an aircraft with her arrow? Was it made out of paper or what?
Either way, the trailer looks awesome. Are you excited? We’re excited. Mockingjay — Part 1 is hitting theatres on Nov. 21.
