Kesha‘s lawyer is making some bold claims — but not about his client.
Did Dr. Luke just admit to raping Kesha?
After Lady Gagarevealed she was raped by a record producer when she was younger, Mark Geragos, Kesha’s lawyer, posted some cryptic tweets that really looked like he was accusing Dr. Luke of being Gaga’s rapist. Geragos is representing Kesha in a legal battle against Dr. Luke, during which the “Tik Tok” singer has claimed to have been sexually abused by Luke.
During her interview on The Howard Stern Show, Gaga only said her rapist was a record producer and that the rape happened early in her career. She declined to say anything more about his identity, but she did say she has seen him since.
Just after Gaga shared her story, Geragos posted his first tweet, saying, “Guess who the rapists was (sic)?” with a link to a story about Gaga’s confession. A later tweet included the hashtag #namethepervert, and after saying no to guesses that the rapist was Bill Cosby, Geragos replied, “#bingo,” to a tweet asking if it was Dr. Luke.

Representatives for Luke and Gaga both deny Geragos’ claims.
According to Billboard, Luke’s rep issued a statement about the accusation, saying, “Mark Geragos’ statement is completely false and defamatory. Luke met Lady Gaga twice for less than half an hour total in those two meetings combined. He has never been alone with her and never touched her. Neither meeting was in that time frame reported.”
And Gaga’s camp denied it, too — her publicist told E! News, “This ridiculous, manufactured link between Lady Gaga and the Kesha-Dr. Luke lawsuit is utterly incomprehensible. This simply isn’t true and how dare someone take advantage of such a sensitive matter.”
Dr. Luke and Kesha’s bitter legal battle just got even more confusing
But Geragos has yet to back down from his claims and has continued to tell TMZ, “I said it because it’s true.”
