Guess which Dancing with the Stars judge may exit before Season 21

We’ve got some bad news for DWTS fans. Season 20 will be the last for one of the show’s judges.

The news first broke with Digital Spy when Dancing with the Stars judge Len Goodman told them he would be quitting the show after Season 20.

“Next year, I’m not going to do the flying backwards and forwards — I’m not going to do the American show… I’ve got to have a bit of time off,” Goodman told the outlet.

Goodman wants to spend more time with his family, including his mother, who has been in a hospital. “I’ve had virtually no time to go and visit her,” Goodman said. “So, I just need a bit of time off to get on with a normal life.”

The decision to leave DWTS came to Goodman after an examination of his life and deciding which of his various gigs he would have to give up. He’s been a very busy man, working on the Strictly Come Dancing show and tour in the UK in addition to Dancing with the Stars.

“It was either Strictly [Come Dancing] went or the American one went or the tour went… I’m doing the spring one when I go out there… and that’s going to be my last one.”

Goodman feels that leaving after the next season will bookend his time on the show nicely. “Next year is their 10th year, it’s the 20th series of the show. So I think that’s a nice place to stop.”

The news of Goodman’s exit was confirmed by E! News, but it hasn’t yet been confirmed by ABC or the producers of Dancing with the Stars.
