Nicki Minaj was not a happy woman over the weekend and she took to Twitter to throw some major shade at someone from her past. And that someone is believed to be her former longtime boyfriend Safaree Samuels.
The “Anaconda” hit maker’s new album The Pinkprint has created a buzz and some of the songs are believed to have been inspired by her ex-BF, but whether or not that was what caused the very public falling-out between these two has not yet been determined.

According to Us Weekly, Minaj took to Twitter on Saturday to write, “Even when I try to protect ppl, they still try to take advantage of me. Haven’t u learned that God is in control? Stop while you’re ahead.
“Anything you don’t appreciate will be taken. God sees your ungrateful evil soul. I gave and gave and gave. Threatening me? Blackmail? Jump,” she continued. “30K watch the night my cousin was killed on the street like a dog. More than rappers. But it was never enough. Don’t make me. Too much love.”
Minaj then went on to explain that she has been loyal for years and she is disappointed.
“Wanted fame. I gave u my blessing. I still love. I still love. I still love. I’ll always love. So disappointed,” she wrote. “Told u It was the wrong move. I sheltered and protected u for years. Loyal for years. Come on. Selling ids? Cuz I’m happy now? Disgusting. Add up them chains watches bracelets rings cars bikes trex’s babe. Stop spending money to floss on IG. that doesn’t last. Love lasts.”
She then appeared to apologize to her fans for her negativity during her Twitter rant.
I'm sorry. My fans know this isn't me. Hate this. But I'm human. I do so much. Too much. No man would have stayed loyal in this game like me

Samuels, for his part, took to Twitter with a series of tweets in which he defended himself and also urged the rapper not to air their dirty laundry for the whole world to see.

And while there is no way of proving that Minaj was definitely speaking about Samuels, her mom Carol decided to get in on the action via Twitter and she did call him out by name.
