OK, seriously, we’re amped with excitement for the new Entourage movie.
It’s been three long, hard years since the series finale of the show, and producers have been teasing us with the movie ever since. We’ve finally been graced with a trailer for the flick and we can actually feel the adrenaline coursing through our veins as we watch it.
Maybe it’s the awesome soundtracking that was one of the show’s signature moves at work again here, but the energy of the story and the actors is palpable through the screen. DVD box sets on repeat have only gotten us so far, so the trailer is some intoxicating stuff.
More: Adrian Grenier on Entourage and “the fame, the money, the glitz, the glam, the girls”
The preview takes us back to the epicenter of the lives of our favorite crew. Ari has returned to the States to accept a studio head position and is still screaming “Lloooooooyd,” Sloane and E appear to be functioning as a couple and even attending prenatal yoga together, Vince is back to making blockbusters directed by Billy Walsh and, yes, Drama is still a douche. But what we can’t get over is how hot Turtle is looking. Jerry Ferrara has clearly been working out.
The trailer gives just enough away to get us intrigued again (as if that is super-hard), but still leaves us with some burning questions: Is Vince still married, or better yet, did he ever actually get married? Is Mrs. Ari — ahem — Melissa, OK with Ari working again? Is Johnny’s Bananas still airing?
The trailer also confirms at least two cameos: MMA fighter Ronda Rousey and the man behind the creation of Entourage, Mark Wahlberg. We also see that the film costars Billy Bob Thornton and Haley Joel Osment, which should be fun.
The trailer — like the show that was only about 25 minutes but easily could have been an hour — leaves you yearning for more.
