Way to start off 2015 with a bang!
Teen Mom star Catelynn Lowell and hubby-to-be Tyler Baltierra spent their new year welcoming their daughter into the world, and her name is kind of awesome, even if we’ve heard part of it before.
The reality TV couple named their new daughter Nova Reign.
Hmm… part of that sounds familiar.
That would be because just a few short weeks ago Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to her third child and named him Reign Aston.
It seems there has been no shortage of epic celeb baby names, and the race to come up with the most clever or most beautiful doesn’t seem to be slowing down.
Nor do we want it to. (Thanks, Hayden Panettiere and Kristen Bell.)
The new daddy announced his baby’s arrival on Twitter, saying, “OMG guys, my daughter is BEAUTIFUL! Can’t wait for you guys to see her! Born on 1/01/15 at 3:15 #StillCantBelieveIt #ShesPerfect.”

Baltierra followed up the announcement on Twitter with photos on his Instagram account, and mom and baby are seriously cute.

MTV reported that the baby was 6 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 19.5 inches long.
The anticipation was mounting for social media followers as the two kept posting mid-labor.

While this is an exciting time, it must also be a time of bittersweet memories as the couple can’t help but be reminded of their 2009 decision to give their first child, Carly, up for adoption.

The new mom said in a previous interview that she’ll “never hide anything from my kids. Our child [will grow up] with Carly around her.”
She continued, saying, “My hope is that they’ll have a great relationship one day. They’re sisters.”
