Droughtlander is right. It feels like forever ago that the first half of Outlander‘s first season graced our screens. To make matters worse, we have to wait until April to get our hands (eyes?) on that second half.
I’m not going to lie to you: April is ages away. Anything that requires the passage of winter inevitably takes twice as long to arrive as something that doesn’t involve making it through the cold, gray, downright depressing months of the not-so-uplifting season. That’s some law of physics, right?
But hold on to your mittens and scarves, kids, because we have something to tide you over. Behold a sneak peek trailer, the full version of which will be released at the end of this current week. That’s certainly something we can cling to for the time being, no?
If I haven’t yet convinced you that a trailer is something to get excited about, allow me to point out that Sam Heughan thinks we’re going to like it, and when Sam Heughan is standing on a hill in Scotland telling us we’re going to like something, I’m pretty sure that’s a guarantee you can take to the bank, is it not?
In this sneak peek, we see that Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe) isn’t exactly in a happy place, saying she feels “adrift, anchorless in a running sea.” But it very much seems that Claire and Jamie Fraser (Heughan) will be getting closer, both physically and emotionally, and we are certainly not opposed to that.
