Jennifer Aniston isn’t afraid to discuss her feelings about Angelina Jolie. But it’s not what you think.
Aniston is keeping her dirty laundry to herself because she says there isn’t any to air.

“It’s just tiresome and old,” the Cake actress told Entertainment Tonight regarding the feud rumors between her and Jolie. “It’s like an old leather shoe. Let’s buy a new pair of shiny shoes.”
It is old news. The rumors have been swirling since 2005, when Aniston separated from her then-husband Brad Pitt while he was working on the film Mr. and Mrs. Smith with Jolie. Though Jolie and Pitt maintain that they didn’t actually get together until after Pitt had officially ended his relationship with Aniston, rumors assert otherwise — as did the assumption that Aniston had beef with Jolie because of her man-stealing ways.

“I think that’s slowly coming to an end. I really do,” Aniston said of the rumors. She even discussed Jolie’s movie Unbroken. “I mean, that movie is so beautiful and wonderful and she did such a gorgeous job. I think that it’s time people stop with that petty BS and just start celebrating great work and stop with the petty kind of silliness.”
And the actresses both have a big reason to focus on their work this year. Though the leading ladies were snubbed at the Oscars, they both had amazing films that broadened the scope of their work. Aniston took on the challenging role of a depressed drug addict in Cake, while Jolie directed the story of World War II prisoner of war survivor and Olympic runner Louis Zamperini in Unbroken.

Needless to say, both ladies have a lot more to celebrate, rather than harping on the past.
And it seems that Aniston puts her money where her mouth is. She and Jolie were both at the Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday. Though they didn’t interact with one another, according to People, neither seemed uncomfortable. Both enjoyed the evening and their nominations, as they should.
