Chad Michael Murray and Sarah Roemer win the prize for best and longest kept Hollywood secret.
I’d say they even bested Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling, because few people even knew Murray and Roemer were dating, let alone that they got married. Oh, and they’re expecting their first child together!

Murray has recently found his way back in the spotlight, thanks to his new role as Jack Thompson on Marvel’s Agent Carter, which could quite possibly explain why his personal life became nearly impossible to keep private.
Murray was spotted with Roemer just last Thursday at ABC’s winter 2015 TCA party. He was photographed wearing a band on his left ring finger, but it wasn’t until the baby news hit the internet that the rumors were confirmed.
“Chad and Sarah are extremely happy and excited, and enjoying their life together,” Murray’s rep told Us Weekly. “We ask that their privacy be respected at this special and personal time.”

As far as we know, the two dated for less than a year before tying the knot. E! News is reporting that the couple began dating at the beginning of last year and haven’t been able to stay away from each other since.
While news of their marriage is still limited, we do know that Murray has always wanted a family and counts his personal life as a priority.
Speaking to E! News just last week, Murray explained, “I’m a romantic. I’m a family guy. I want that core. I tend to keep everything quiet. I love my life. That’s the part I keep for myself.”

Murray’s previous marriage to Sophia Bush could help explain why the actor now chooses to keep things as quiet as possible. The relationship, which ultimately ended in divorce, was well-documented in the Hollywood spotlight as the two were costars on One Tree Hill.
This is Roemer’s first marriage.
