TMZ reported that Lohan was treated at King Edward VII’s Hospital (where the Queen is treated). She was admitted with a high fever and unbearable joint pain, but has since been released after her fever broke sufficiently. However, Lohan is still believed to be in an immense amount of pain, and her doctors have reportedly referred her to a specialist who treats chikungunya.
The virus is rarely fatal, but the terrible pain can apparently last for months, and even years in some cases.
Aside from Lohan’s health problems, things are looking up in her life and she is trying to get her career back on track. According to the Daily Mail, she currently has three films in pre-production: Life Travelers,Six Gun Dead and Soul Carriers.
