Katy Perry is no scrub.

The “Roar” singer just showed she has some serious love for ’90s girl band, TLC, by giving a $5,000 donation to their Kickstarter campaign. They’re using it to raise money to hopefully record their final album in 2015. What better way to put that Super Bowl paycheck to use?

TLC band member, Tionne “T-boz” Watkins, tweeted a thank you to Perry Wednesday, saying, “A BIG Special THANK YOU 2 @katyperry for her pledge to our #Kickstarter Campaign! Your [sic] awesome!”

The Kickstarter pledge came just one day after TLC announced their Main Event tour, which will kick off May 1 in Las Vegas, along with ’90s boy band, New Kids on the Block, and rapper, Nelly. Time for a trip to Sin City, obviously.

Luckily, even those who can’t make any Main Event tour dates will likely be able to hear the sweet, sweet sounds of TLC very soon. By Wednesday evening, with four weeks of fundraising still go to, the “Waterfalls” singers were only about $11,000 short of their $150,000 goal.

“We wouldn’t dream of making our final album with anyone BUT our fans,” they wrote on their Kickstarter page. “Come on y’all, BE A PART OF TLC HISTORY!”

The upcoming tour is already a dream for ’90s kids, but this may make it even better: E! News reports that New Kids on the Block teased at some onstage collaboration.

We’re going to come out on some of their [songs],” Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas told the site. “We’re going to study [their dance moves] every day and then we are going to pop up.”

Maybe on their favorite TLC songs? Jonathan Knight said his fave is “Scrubs,” while Joey McIntyre said he loves “Ain’t 2 Proud 2 Beg.”

“I mean, ‘Ain’t 2 Proud 2 Beg’ was like the one that set it off and just exploded,” he said. “I still love that one. That’s my favorite.”
