Farrah Abraham is returning to the new season of Teen Mom, but not everyone is rejoicing over the news.

In recent years, the controversial star has been focusing on other ventures, namely starring in an adult film opposite porn star James Deen, writing an erotic novel and launching a sex toy line. But now Abrahams will be headed back to the show that launched her career alongside her original costars Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, Amber Portwood — despite the fact that the other ladies made it clear they want nothing to do with Abraham.
Speaking to Us Weekly, Abraham revealed her reasons for rejoining the hit MTV show.
“There’s going to be lots of excitement from the Teen Mom fans and MTV’s fan base as well, so I’m excited to be back!” she told the mag.

So, how do the other ladies feel about Abraham’s return? According to Teen Mom creator, Lauren Dolgen, they’re not happy about it.
“[The other girls] know that she’s coming back, and it did create a little bit of controversy that will play out in the series,” Dolgen revealed to Us Weekly.
But Abraham is determined to put all the past feuds and negativity behind her when she returns.
“I’m just hoping that [the cast is] better off, and they’re doing well because I know personally I’m providing for my daughter, making my future as best as I can as well,” she said.

She also believes that signing up was the right thing to do for her daughter Sophia, age 5.
“I think it was important because I mean just weighing out the options and my future for my daughter,” she explained. “I think Teen Mom is important for the children and their futures. And I think it holds some good opportunities for Sophia and her future.”
So, does that mean Abraham does not see Teen Mom benefiting her own future?
“I’m not doing anything differently that I would not do when the cameras are there or not there,” she said. “I mean, I don’t know if it really benefits me to be on TV because I was most successful in my career when I was away from Teen Mom. So if it benefits me then that’s randomly benefitting [sic]. I’m more or less looking at it to benefit Sophia.”
