Iggy Azalea tweet-rants again, this time about ‘God awful’ Steve Madden pics

By now, the world is used to seeing Iggy Azalea rant on Twitter, but the latest to feel her wrath is shoe designer brand Steve Madden.

Pictures emerged on a Tumblr account, which the Huffington Post was able to take a screenshot of before the account went private, which showed crotch shots of models wearing neoprene sandals with socks — something that Azalea was seriously unimpressed with.

The “Fancy” hit maker took to Twitter on Thursday to share her anger over the photo shoot for her upcoming collection with the brand, and in a series of tweets that have since been deleted, Azalea called the pictures “the most disgusting photo shoot ever.”

“I’ve been bamboozled with a tumblr page where everyone wears socks and takes unintentional crotch shots on pool toys. I’m in shock,” Azalea tweeted. “Tainted with these God awful images that Steve madden took appon themselves to create and share without my knowledge. Gross gross gross.”

And she was not done there.

“I worked really hard on the creative direction of both the shoes and the shoot I WAS involved with and in. I really feel it’s been,” Azalea tweeted, continuing with, “Even told me about it, I’m just seeing it as it’s uploaded on some random tumblr page and iam livid.

“Everything in a collaboration is supposed to be mutually approved. But Steve madden did the most disgusting photo shoot ever.”

The Australian-born star has since taken to Instagram to release pictures of herself sporting shoes from the collection, alongside a lengthy explanation about how proud she is of her work with Steve Madden.

So, what does the brand think about these nasty tweets from Azalea? They say that it was just a lover’s quarrel.

In a statement to the Huffington Post, a spokesperson for the Steve Madden Company said, “This was a lover’s quarrel. We love Iggy and are very excited about our collaboration. When you get two artists working together sometimes there are fireworks. It’s our creative differences that allow us to design an incredible collection and we are looking forward to sharing it with the world!”
