The Jump is back on our screens and so far the blokes have a lot of work to do if they’re going to be as entertaining as the fearless females.
So far the ladies of Channel 4’s “most dangerous” reality TV show The Jump are definitely stealing the show from their male counterparts. Sunday’s launch show focused on the men only but, if we’re honest, weren’t we all wishing Lady Victoria Hervey, Jodie Kidd, Heather Mills etc. were taking to the slopes?
Well, last night they did and it knocked the socks off the previous night’s show, which saw former cricketer Phil Tufnell and Gogglebox‘s Dom Parker eliminated, going out with more of a whimper than a bang.

Here are just a few of last night’s highlights:
Heather Mills became the first below the knee amputee to take on the terrifying ski jump, going head-to-head with Lady Victoria Hervey, Ashley Roberts and Louise Thompson to fight for a place on the show. Mills, predictably, was full of fighting talk. “If she loses to a one legged chick she’s never gonna live it down,” she said of former Olympian Louise Hazel before they went head-to-head on the skeleton but Mills failed to beat Hazel’s time of 43.50 seconds.

She may be tiny but Made in Chelsea star Louise Thompson managed an incredible 15.5 metres in The Jump, sending former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts and her 12.5 metres home.

“I thought I was going to “f***ng die!” cried Lady Victoria Hervey after she escaped a near death crash on the skeleton when she lost control of her sledge and crashed into the side of the track. Again and again and again.
