The Bold and the Beautiful‘s Linsey Godfrey was struck by a car on the sidewalk while walking in Los Angeles on Monday.
Godfrey underwent surgery following the accident in which she sustained two broken legs, according to TMZ.

Apparently, the actress was hit after a vehicle swerved off the road after hitting another car and ended up on the sidewalk.
Police report Godfrey was pinned under the car, but a bystander moved her from the wreckage by the time the ambulance arrived. She was rushed to hospital.
Fox News is reporting Godfrey is on the road to recovery.
The soap star is best known for playing Caroline Spencer Forrester since 2012 on TheBold and the Beautiful. She was nominated for a Daytime Emmy last year.

In her personal life, Godfrey was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2006, but has since completed treatment and is cancer-free. She gave birth to her first child, a girl, last year with her fiancé, Ryan Adamson.
Adamson took to Twitter to assure fans that Godfrey is recovering well.

He said both he and Godfrey were looking forward to having this incident as a “distant memory,” but was sure to thank everyone for their support during this scary time.

Shooting for TheBold and the Beautiful has been rearranged, according to People, to accommodate the actress’ recovery. No word yet on what exactly this will mean for her character since the show is in the middle of a major story arc involving Caroline at the moment.
