Kanye disses the Grammys, Beck and E! in a post-Grammys, rage-fueled rant (VIDEO)

When will award shows learn to sit Kanye West in the back and never give him a microphone?

OK. Except to perform; only then we will allow him to have a mic.

And from now on, can we just decide if there is an award show he will be attending to just give all of the awards to Beyoncé so he won’t lose his ever loving mind… again?

West had us flashing back to 2009, when he ambushed poor (and young) Taylor Swift in his first rush to defend Beyoncé’s honor with his, “I’mma let you finish…” tirade.

He did it again, or at least pretended to, when Beck won Album of the Year at the Grammys last night. He might not have stolen the mic from him, but his message was clear: I don’t think you deserve this just like I didn’t think Taylor Swift deserved hers either. Give all the awards to Beyoncé!

It seems maybe the “Gold Digger” rapper has at least grown up enough to mend fences with Swift, snapping a few photos with the towering songstress after the show (or maybe Queen of Pop Swift has become both literally and figuratively the bigger person?)

See what we did there?

But here’s the thing. Everything was thrown out the window when someone who must have been living on Mars for the past six years handed West a microphone during an E! post-Grammys show with Kim Kardashian’s sister, Khloé.

He then proceeded to let out several minutes of word vomit about how Beyoncé not winning the honor was disrespectful and how the Grammys needs to stop smacking people in the face.

Your basic Yeezus crazy.

So let me get this straight. Beck’s artistry doesn’t count, only Beyoncé’s. And what is with Khloé and the gang egging him on with affirmations and nods the whole time? Do not encourage him!

It’s strange he says it’s disrespectful to inspiration for Beyoncé to not win Album of the Year, but the artistry Beck put into his album doesn’t count. That doesn’t seem disrespectful at all!

And did you catch this little gem?: “The Kardashians wouldn’t be famous if beauty wasn’t important.” Just. Wow.

But wait, it gets so much better. Beck responded to the stage slight and the rant with more class than I personally would be able to afford West, proving once again why it is better they are celebrities, and I am not.

Beck said in an interview with Us Weekly during an after party, “I was just so excited he was coming up. He deserves to be on stage as much as anybody. How many great records has he put out in the last five years right?”

He addresses the dis directly, saying, “You can’t please everybody, man. I still love him and think he’s genius. I aspire to do what he does.”

Well, I for one, hope Beck stays the way Beck is and doesn’t become more like West, but that’s just me.

So what does Beck get for taking the high road (aside from a new Grammy sitting on his mantel)?

He gets his Wikipedia page hacked! After his win, his page was changed to include some interesting “facts.” It said, “He is the stealer of The Album of the Year award.” It also says he stole the honor from “Beyonce Knowles, the Queen of the World.”

But all has been righted, and his page now reads, “On February 8, 2015, at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards, Morning Phase won three Grammys.”

If I thought for a second Kanye West knew how to change a Wiki, I would totally blame him… but I’m going to have to go with another Queen Bey-crazed fan this time.

Now, I totally think Beyoncé is one of the most hardworking and amazing artists and performers out there. But I kind of think not only can she speak for herself, but she would be a bit more respectful than West. She wouldn’t stomp on someone else’s work and toes to make her point.

So, while I’m sure she is super thankful for your chivalry, Yeezus, I think she can take care of herself.
