by

The film adaptation of E L James’ best-selling novel Fifty Shades of Grey is set to debut later this week, and fans have seen many teaser clips to get them excited, but the film has also inspired some brilliant parodies.

Perhaps the most recent parody is the one with Steve Buscemi, which manages to make you laugh and feel uncomfortable at the same time.

Created by Boo Ya Pictures, this trailer shows Buscemi in all his glory, as scenes taken from Boardwalk Empire, Mr. Deeds and Fargo have been mashed together with the original Fifty Shades of Grey trailer to bring you two minutes of hilarity.

In case you missed it, Saturday Night Live actress Vanessa Bayer’s Fifty Shades of Grey elevator parody is hilarious. In a commercial for Audi, Bayer turns the book’s elevator scene from one that is meant to be all about seduction to one that will make you laugh at how awkward she makes elevator rides.

“I’m not a cop,” she says to one man while holding handcuffs, and comments on another man’s tie being “very gray,” when it is in fact purple.

Then there’s the LEGO parody, which quite simply gives a whole new meaning to sex toys. In the clip you can see the handiwork of artist Antonio Toscano as he recreates the Fifty Shades of Grey trailer with LEGO pieces.

Disney’s highest-grossing animated film Frozen has had its fair share of parodies, but someone decided that the characters Anna and Prince Hans from the hit film would make a great Fifty Shades parody.

There’s also this little gem from Trojan, which shows a couple talking to their therapist about their sex life.

And how could something as high-profile as Fifty Shades go unnoticed by Ellen DeGeneres? The answer: it didn’t. The funny woman decided to create her very own parody of the film with herself as the character Anastasia Steele.

There’s even a parody of adorable gray kittens, but it’s pretty creepy. “Mr. Grey will see you meow.”

And just when you thought you’d seen everything, there’s even a parody called “Fifty Shades of Santa.”
