The second episode of Two and a Half Men got half the Australian viewers as last week amidst rumours Ashton Kutcher cheated on Demi Moore.
IS THE HYPE OVER?
Charlie Sheen’s stand-in has lost his grip on viewers of Two and a Half Men.
The show set records for itself when Season 9 debuted in America and then quickly after in Australia last week. This week however, ratings dropped by a whopping 50 percent in Australia and 30 percent in the States. In Oz, the first show last week commanded more than 2 million viewers — only 1.25 million watched this week.
Ashton Kutcher also may be hurting the show with allegations that he is giving free advertising to companies in which he has a financial interest through logos stuck to a laptop he uses in the latest episode.
CHEATING RUMOURS FLY
As if Two and a Half Men didn’t have enough to deal with when its former star Charlie Sheen made headlines with alleged womanizing behaviour, now the replacement actor is being churned through the rumour mill as well.
Reports claim Ashton Kutcher cheated on wife Demi Moore during their six-year anniversary weekend. The actor may have had a fling with a college student while partying in San Diego, California. The actress tweeted a few ominous-sounding messages that seem to indicate an impending split with Ashton Kutcher. There have been previous reports of Ashton Kutcher cheating on his wife, who he first started dating in 2003.
