One of Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s family members is pulling no punches when it comes to the investigation about what happened the day she was found face-down in her bathtub, and there is only one person they want to see behind bars.
Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, Leolah Brown, sat down with Fox 5 Atlanta to talk about the young star’s condition and the incident that has left her in a coma since Jan. 31.
Leolah is staying positive about the outcome and revealed that things are not nearly as dire as the media has made them out to be.
“There are so many signs showing us that she will be OK. Krissi is fine,” she said. “She’s opening her eyes. Krissi is doing well right now. She is.”
But there is one person she hopes will not be fine: Bobbi’s partner, Nick Gordon, who she wants to see behind bars for what she believes is his role in the incident.
“I’m not going to make a comment about that, but I believe Nick Gordon will be charged with this,” Leolah said when asked what crime she believes occurred that day. “I hope that he will be charged with this, as well. Soon. I really do.”

Leolah might not be too far off the mark. A spokesperson for the Roswell Police Department confirmed that they have opened a criminal investigation into the case, but stopped short of saying what, if any, suspects they have identified.
“The incident has always been under criminal investigation and has not been reclassified as a criminal investigation,” said Lisa Holland, the Roswell public information officer, in a statement to ABC News. “Criminal investigations may or may not result in criminal charges being brought against individuals.
“This remains an active investigation and the Roswell Police has no further statement or information to release at this time.”
Gordon has maintained radio silence since that day. Another friend who was in the home, Max Lomas, has a history of violent offenses and might be someone the cops are looking at, too — but despite the fact that he lawyered up quickly, that lawyer claims he is cooperating with the police.
“Mr. Lomas has not been accused of anything in connection with Bobbi Kristina Brown’s injuries and is a witness in this investigation,” his lawyer said. “Mr. Lomas’ main focus is on Ms. Brown’s full recovery and he continues to pray for her and her entire family throughout this tragedy.”
