Two well-known journalists, Leeza Gibbons and Geraldo Rivera, face off on Monday’s season finale of Celebrity Apprentice. Here’s why we think Leeza Gibbons has the competition in the bag.
1. Vivica Fox endorsed Leeza Gibbons over herself
When Donald Trump asked Vivica if he should keep her instead of Leeza, Vivica was flat-out honest and told Trump he should keep Leeza. Coming from such a fierce competitor, that’s quite an endorsement!

2. Kevin Jonas is desperate to redeem himself
After losing out to Geraldo earlier in the season with a video he directed, there’s no doubt that Kevin Jonas wants to prove his talent as a director and make Leeza’s Universal theme-park commercial the hands-down winner.
3. It’s Geraldo’s world, we’re just living in it
Somehow, despite all his career gaffes (Al Capone’s vault, anyone?), Geraldo has an enormous ego. We don’t think he’ll be able to see beyond himself and lead his team to victory.
4. Ian Ziering loathes Geraldo
We get that Trump probably put Ziering on Geraldo’s team to create conflict for the cameras, but “EYE-an,” as he calls himself, could easily undermine Geraldo’s efforts to win. In fact, we hope he does! Even Geraldo admitted, “Lorenzo and Ian [were] two of the guys I butted heads with. It was almost as if Trump was playing a joke on me.”

5. Leeza’s natural ability to play nice
Leeza is a true leader, using her quiet resolve to motivate and inspire her team in a positive way. She’s smart and diplomatic, and we’d all love to work for her.
6. Harry-aldo Potter?
Why is Geraldo dressing as Harry Potter? Why does he wear those cherry-colored glasses? We just don’t understand anything that’s going on inside that man’s head.
7. “Magic of Memories” theme
Universal Studios Orlando is all about creating exciting memories with your family. Leeza’s charity is all about helping those dealing with Alzheimer’s disease, the “thief of memories.” Putting the two together is genius.
8. Brandi Glanville’s support is huge
Trump wisely put Brandi on Team Leeza. No real leader herself, Brandi has fiercely supported Leeza while on the show. She said, “I’m here for Leeza because I’ve never met a more kind, genuine person. She’s inspirational, aspirational. She’s never once not given 100 percent. Leeza will kill this.”
9. Geraldo is an emotional control freak
Last week, we saw Geraldo take over the commercial shoot from Lorenzo Lamas and Vivica Fox with complete disregard for all the preparation they put into making the shot list. Why? Who knows, but Geraldo did say, “From now on I’m in charge of every shot, I’m sorry. This is bullshit!”
10. Olivia Newton-John is Leeza’s secret weapon
Newton-John will sing her 1980 hit “Magic” on behalf of Leeza’s team, something we expect will wow audiences and impress the Donald.

11. For Leeza, it’s personal
Leeza promised her mother, Gloria Jean, who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease, that she would tell her story. Gloria Jean passed away in 2008, but Leeza created the charity organization Leeza’s Care Connection to help other families who are struggling against the same disease.
The Celebrity Apprentice finale will air Monday at 8pm on NBC.
