Lady Gaga may be unconventional, but there is one tried-and-true tradition she is about to partake in: marriage.
Already floating on air from her stellar Grammys performance of “Cheek to Cheek” with Tony Bennett, Gaga’s February got even better on Valentine’s Day when her longtime boyfriend Taylor Kinney popped the question — and she said yes!
Gaga confirmed the news on Instagram herself with a picture of her surprising new bling.

Let it never be said that Gaga doesn’t have a big heart, because that rock is huge. But it also is absolutely nothing like we would have expected her to wear.
Kinney, who stars on the hit TV show Chicago Fire, has been dating the pop star after they met on the set of the 2011 video for her hit song “You and I.” They briefly split in May 2012 but reunited a month later.

If Kinney was nervous when he popped the question, he needn’t have been. Gaga recently told Howard Stern that if her man asked her to marry him, the answer would be a resounding “yes!”
“He is the right guy,” she explained. “How do we know? It’s this feeling…”
Huge congrats to the happy couple, and we can’t wait to see her wedding dress!
