Attention Star Wars fans — there is a potentially huge spoiler ahead, so read on at your own peril.
With leaked photos, leaked plot details and leaked script details, it’s starting to feel like J.J. Abrams just can’t catch a break in the Star Wars secrecy department. Of course, we can hardly blame the myriad snoopers, fans and on-set photo-sneakers — Star Wars: Episode VII –The Force Awakens is probably the most anticipated movie of 2015.

One of the biggest fan sites making waves for the clandestine project is the fan site Making Star Wars, whose steady vigilance has allowed it to break several spoilers. Considering the apparent veracity of more than a few of their predictions, it seems the site has established a relationship with someone on the Star Wars production team, lending credence to their confidently released updates.
And the site’s newest prediction is no joke.

According to Making Star Wars, Han Solo is going to freaking die in Episode VII.
(Cue mass panic and heartbreak and gnashing of angry teeth.)
The site elaborates, explaining that the nasty Kylo Renn (rumored to be played by Girls star Adam Driver) murders our favorite wise guy atop the ramparts of the “Evil Castle.” The report goes on to say that both Chewbacca and that adorable little robot BB-8 are present for the crime, and that Han perhaps sacrifices himself to save his friends.

George Lucas revealed in 2014 that Harrison Ford had actually been asking for his character to be killed off during filming on Star Wars V, which Lucas refused to do. Did Abrams take Lucas’ story too seriously? According to Making Star Wars, maybe. Their report finishes by explaining that Han Solo doesn’t appear in any more scenes after the fight at the Evil Castle.
Now how are we supposed to sleep at night knowing we have to wait nine whole months to find out if we’ll be grieving for Han Solo when the credits roll this December?
