Nick Gordon ‘desperate’ to visit Bobbi Kristina, but will the family allow it?

With Bobbi Kristina Brown still in a medically induced coma, her boyfriend is begging the Brown family to let him see her — but will they?

In new statements, Gordon’s lawyer told the media that he wants to be with Bobbi Kristina despite a criminal investigation surrounding his involvement in her injuries, but that he’s also respecting her family’s “requests.”

“Nick has been trying, privately, to do everything he can to see Bobbi Kristina cooperatively,” Gordon’s lawyer said in a statement. “He has respected the family’s wishes and for that reason alone has not returned to the hospital and risked a public confrontation. But he desperately wants to be with the one he loves and continues to hope that his request will be granted.”

The statement comes after Gordon found Bobbi Kristina face down in a bath — she’s been in a medically induced coma since then — more than a week ago. It also follows statements from Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown, who recently revealed that Bobbi Kristina was never officially married to Gordon, a domestic abuse 911 call may have involved the couple, Bobbi Kristina’s body had unexplained injuries and police are treating the entire case as a criminal investigation, in which Gordon is a person of interest.

Sources have also recently told Us Weekly that Gordon and Bobbi Kristina weren’t exactly a perfect match.

“Nick used to be a little hotheaded around her,” one source said, adding that he was “not good for her.”

Media outlets have reported that members of Bobbi Kristina’s extended family have also been prohibited from seeing her in the hospital, especially as rumors have circulated about her condition that Bobby Brown insists are untrue.

“At this time it is requested that the media cease speaking with unauthorized members of the family,” the family’s lawyer said, speaking on Bobby Brown’s behalf. “The integrity of the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina must remain uncompromised. Various members of the family have provided media interviews, however, none of them are approved visitors to see Bobbi Kristina. None of them have firsthand knowledge of Bobbi Kristina’s treatment and the medical staff at Emory University Hospital has not communicated with them.”
