The more Nick Gordon speaks out, the worse we feel for him

Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s boyfriend seems to kind of be getting the short end of the stick.

More:Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family is making money off of her dire situation

While Bobbi Kristina and her family are undoubtedly going through a terrible ordeal, people have been quick to write off Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina’s longtime boyfriend, as not part of the family. And while, sure, he isn’t technically part of the family, the media coverage surrounding the family drama that’s been going down between the Browns and Gordon makes us wonder if there’s more to Gordon’s story that we aren’t getting. Maybe there are some reasons we should be feeling sorry for the guy. Reasons like:

1. He doesn’t really get a say in Bobbi Kristina’s treatment

Even though Gordon and Bobbi Kristina have been engaged since 2012 — almost three years — they were never officially married, contrary to media reports that said they wed last year. That means Gordon isn’t part of the family, and even though he’s an undeniably huge part of Bobbi Kristina’s life, he’s not a part of any of her medical decisions unless the family decides to include him — and it doesn’t look like that’s happening.

2. He hasn’t been able to see her at the hospital

There have been conflicting reports about the reason why, but nearly all corners of the media agree that Gordon hasn’t been able to visit Bobbi Kristina in the hospital. Reports have said Gordon “desperately” wants to visit, while Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown, has issued statements saying Gordon would be allowed to visit if he meets certain terms, which haven’t been publicly specified. Either way, it can’t be easy for Gordon to be separated from Bobbi Kristina when she’s hospitalized.

3. He’s still under investigation

Innocent until proven guilty, but it can’t be easy being a part of the ongoing police investigation into the events that led to Bobbi Kristina being found unconscious in a bathtub. Gordon was the one who found her and police have said they’re treating the incident as a criminal investigation.

All those reasons aside, though, airing the family’s drama on Twitter is a low blow and that’s exactly what Gordon did today.
