19 Kids and Counting‘s Amy Duggar wants her own reality show

Amy Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting fame reveals she’s totally up for having a reality show of her very own.

In an interview with Radar Online, Duggar said she’d be willing to take part in a spin-off show, but only if the producers and network met a couple of conditions.

“If they film my real life in Fayetteville with my boyfriend, yeah, we would do that,” Duggar said, referring to her boyfriend of three months, Dillon King. “If they wanted to, we would!”

Duggar has appeared on the hit TLC series featuring her aunt and uncle, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, and their family of 19 children. Jim Bob and Michelle are well known for their conservative Christian beliefs, but Amy has always marched to the beat of her own drum.

While Jim Bob and Michelle’s kids dress conservatively and have strict rules for dating that include no kissing or even hugging (side-hugs only!) until the wedding night, Duggar believes that you can still be a Christian without conforming to those kinds of beliefs. Recently, she posted a picture of herself kissing her boyfriend, which evidently didn’t go over well with her uncle.

“It would be a very different type of show,” Duggar said of any reality TV show based on her life.

In addition to appearing on 19 Kids and Counting, Duggar has also appeared in two specials of her own. The episodes spotlighted her blooming career as a country artist, but she was quick to point out that singing is what she loves to do, cameras or no cameras.

“With the two specials that I did, it shows that I can sing. It doesn’t show I can hold a note, though,” she said. “I want to get that across. I want people to know that I’m not doing it for fame or the Duggar name. I love to sing. If the cameras follow me, cool. If not, cool!”
