We’re already jealous of Jaime King‘s unborn baby, and that’s because Taylor Swift is going to be playing a special role in the tot’s life.

King and husband Kyle Newman are expecting their second child and a little playmate for their 16-month-old son, James Knight, and the Hart of Dixie actress recently decided to announce who landed the gig of godmother: Taylor Swift.
Swift and King have been friends for a while, with the actress even gushing to E! News about her BFF last year.
“Taylor is just one of my closest, closest friends — one of my dear, dear friends. We just met and instantly had a connection,” she told the publication. “She is also another woman that I feel is one of the most authentic women we have in this industry that other women look up to.”

So, it really comes as no surprise that Swift is going to be a godmother to King’s child, but what was surprising is how the pair decided to share the news with fans. Hint: it was the cutest way ever.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, King posted a picture of herself with the “Shake It Off” hit maker lovingly staring at her pregnant belly.
“And @taylorswift will forever be looking over our new baby @kyle_newman -we all love you!!!! Xx,” she captioned the sweet pic.

Swift also got in on the godmother action and posted a picture of herself touching her bestie’s belly, which she captioned, “Guess who just got named Godmother of this little one….. (ME).”
