Fans can’t wait for new season of ABC’s The Bachelorette, but is the leading lady going to be Kaitlyn Bristowe or Britt Nilsson?

Both ladies were given a chance to battle it out for the title of 2015’s The Bachelorette, as the pool of 25 men voted for which woman they’d prefer to date in the season premiere. Now the votes are in (major spoiler ahead), and the new Bachelorette is Kaitlyn.

Reality Steve, who is well known for his Bachelor spoilers, is claiming to have results of that vote, and it seems that the men fancied Kaitlyn just a little bit more. Taking to Twitter on Sunday, Reality Steve revealed the news of the new Bachelorette, but that doesn’t mean Britt is going home yet.

Today is also the first date of the season, and Reality Steve had a little information to share about that, too.

OK, so not that much information, but he later followed up by saying that the first date included eight guys and a boxing match — we’re guessing that could get pretty interesting.

However, what we’re really curious about is what role Ms. Nilsson will have in the new season. Doesn’t it seem just a little unfair that the guys didn’t want her to be the new Bachelorette, but she is still hanging around? What good could possibly come from that?

Tell us: What do you think of the new Bachelorette and what role do you think Britt will play in the new season?
