During a recent interview with Radar Online, the MTV reality star revealed that she was, and still is, a victim of online bullying, mostly from women who urge her fiancé Tyler Baltierra to leave her for someone “better.”

“Most of it is on Tyler’s profile, girls saying ‘You can do better,'” she told the publication during an interview. “Girls are nasty and mean and have no class!”

The mom of two then went on to explain how Baltierra often receives messages from women on social media who flirt with him or send him raunchy messages — but he has the perfect response to those women.

Speaking of a girl who just recently sent him nude pictures of herself, along with a very direct message, Baltierra revealed his tactful response.

“Some girl… ended up sending nude pictures of herself and said, ‘I want you,'” he said. “I just wrote back, ‘I hope whatever issues you have with your own self-respect are taken care of.’ It shut her down.”

Lowell’s healthy relationship and the trust that she and Baltierra share has helped her to ignore the hurtful messages from online haters. However, it was not always so easy to turn the other cheek.

“When I was younger, I would get super-upset about it,” she confessed.

So, how does she feel now?

“Honestly, I’m so secure in our relationship, I know Tyler isn’t going to run off and do things or talk back to them. I laugh it off!” she said. “We’re open and honest with one another. We’ve worked on that for years. [Couple’s Therapy] really helped us a lot.”

We’re so glad to hear that Lowell has not let nasty messages about her appearance or flirty women who hit on her man affect her self-esteem. Over the years, fans have been able to see the Teen Mom star really grow into herself and become a strong and inspirational young women.
