According to The Hollywood Reporter, sources have revealed that adult film stars Amia Miley and Peta Jensen were hired to take part in a massive orgy scene involving dozens of naked bodies.
There has not been much information released about the upcoming season, and there won’t be, because series creator Nic Pizzolatto has apparently made all participants in the show sign nondisclosure agreements that prevent them from discussing their work. However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, participants in the orgy scene revealed that it was a multi-day shoot that was done in a Pasadena mansion, and two of the show’s main stars, Rachel McAdams and Colin Farrell, were also present — although it is unclear if they actually took part in all the nakedness.

Surprisingly, among the people who did not take off all of their clothes were Miley and Jensen. Why? Well, apparently, they were not hired for their sexual experience, and instead got the part when they signed up as extras who were willing to take their clothes off with the casting extras service that the HBO series has been using.

True Detective Season 2 is expected to be drastically different from the first season — this new tidbit of information certainly suggests so — with previous stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson not returning to the show. New leads include Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams, Vince Vaughn, Kelly Reilly, Taylor Kitsch and Afemo Omilami.
