Catelynn Lowell’s open adoption arrangement is being threatened by her social media habits, but the Teen Mom star doesn’t seem to be learning her lesson.
Lowell and Tyler Baltierra placed their daughter Carly, now 5, up for adoption at birth to a couple who agreed to an open arrangement, meaning the teens could have contact with their daughter and visit on occasion. But now Catelynn, who gave birth to a second daughter in January, is putting that relationship at risk by posting photos of Carly online — and the adoptive parents, Brandon and Teresa Davis, are very angry.

“They’re not happy with Catelynn and Tyler’s behavior and refusal to follow the adoption rules,” a source told InTouch. “Obviously, Brandon and Teresa are upset. They’re getting more concerned about Carly being in the public eye as she gets older. The relationship is really strained.”
But despite the discord, Lowell seems to be refusing to back down. She just posted yet another shot of Carly on Instagram, this time comparing the girl as an infant to her new daughter Novalee.

This discord between Lowell, Baltierra and the Davises is played out on the new season of Teen MomOG, and Lowell recently discussed with OK! magazine a very uncomfortable scene in which Baltierra bristles under the rules the Davises are placing on them.
“The only thing I was scared to film was a conversation that we have with Brandon and Teresa, and it was tough to watch it, too,” she said.
Teen Mom OG premieres March 23, 2015 on MTV.
