Sharknado 3‘s David Hasselhoff is warning fans about the film

So far, David Hasselhoff has spent 2015 showing off his awesome sense of humor (see the kilt-wearing epic-ness above).

And that includes his guest-starring role in Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!

Hasselhoff isn’t making any excuses for the fantastically bad series. “It’s the worst movie you have ever seen,” he promised during an interview with HuffPost Live. But he also added, “I had so much fun making the movie.”

And the actor guaranteed Sharknado 3 will be full of cheesy, campy goodness.

The movie will premiere in July on Syfy and stars Tara Reid and Ian Ziering, who are reprising their roles as April Wexler and Fin Shepard, respectively. This time, the duo will be heading to Washington, D.C. when the sharknado hits the east coast. Will they be able to save the White House?

Better question: Does it matter?

Because as long as there’s lots of hoopla and onscreen gags, we’ll be tuning in and loving every shark-infested minute.

Hasselhoff even said he had such a great time filming, you might see him pop up again. “This thing’s going to go on forever!” the former Baywatch actor said about the Sharknado franchise. “The last scene of me is on the moon, and I said, ‘Are you going to kill me?’ They said, ‘No, you’ll be in Sharknado 4!'”

Other celebs making a cameo in Sharknado 3 include Shark Tank‘s Mark Cuban as the president of the United States, *NSYNC’s Chris Kirkpatrick as a helpful lifeguard, and conservative commentator Ann Coulter as the vice president.
