The founder of Skinnygirl Cocktails has taken a ton of flak for supposedly being too thin, especially after she posted a photo to social media showing herself squeezing into her toddler daughter’s tiny pajamas. She termed the incident “pajama-gate” after it caused internet backlash from fans who thought she was unhealthily thin and also from those who felt she was promoting an unhealthy body image for her young daughter, Bryn.

But Frankel has always fought back against those who have dubbed her too skinny — that is, until now. In a preview for an upcoming interview with Andy Cohen, she admitted there may be some truth to the claims that she doesn’t live the healthiest lifestyle.
“When you have a brand called Skinnygirl, there’s always going to be a dialogue about [how thin you are],” Frankel said. Cohen then asked her if she thinks she’s too thin. “No. I mean, maybe. Do I really think about it? I think I can be sometimes. When I’m very tired and stressed out, people think I’m much more thin. It’s always the times that I feel like I’m really stressed out because I get black circles and my face looks drawn. But maybe. I mean, I run around like a total maniac.”

Sure, we all get busy. And maybe we don’t live our healthiest lives when we’re busy and stressed, like Frankel said. But still, few women are thin enough to fit into a toddler’s pajamas.
Regardless of the talk about her weight, Frankel still doesn’t see why everyone is so worried about “pajama-gate.”
“I didn’t think it was that big of a deal,” she told Cohen.
