According to E! News, New York police have confirmed that Weinstein was questioned over the weekend after a 22-year-old woman filed a sex abuse complaint against him. The woman says Weinstein groped her during a Friday meeting at the Tribeca Film Center. Police say they are investigating the incident, E! News reports, but that no charges have yet been filed.

Weinstein, who has produced such hits as Pulp Fiction, Shakespeare in Love and Project Runway, has declined to comment on the investigation. So have The Weinstein Company and the Manhattan district attorney’s office.

He asked if her breasts were real before touching them,” a police source told the New York Daily News. “She asked him to stop and he put his hand up her skirt. He asked for a kiss, she responded ‘No.'”

The New York Daily News reports the young woman first confessed about the assault to a friend, who drove her to a police precinct to report it.

The woman is reportedly a 22-year-old model Weinstein met on the red carpet at the opening of his “New York Spring Spectacular.” Weinstein, 63, has been married to his current wife, Georgina Chapman, for seven years. He and Chapman, cofounder of Marchesa, have two children, and Weinstein has three other children from his previous marriage.

The assault reportedly happened in Weinstein’s Tribeca office, where he lured the model, telling her he wanted to “talk business.”

Weinstein was the CEO of Miramax before he and his brother cofounded The Weinstein Co. in 2005. Together, they’ve produced TV hits and blockbuster movies.
