The film, titled Amy, was directed by Asif Kapadia, and it shows some of the highs and lows in the “Rehab” hit maker’s life. In the one-and-a-half-minute-long trailer, we get a glimpse into what we can expect from this documentary as it takes us through the beginning of Winehouse’s career — with her as a teenager posing and singing in home videos — and then continues to her later years, showing how she desperately struggled with fame and battled to trust people.
While speaking about how famous she thought she was going to be at the start of her career, the British star made a chilling confession about how she didn’t think she’d be able to handle fame and that she’d go mad.
