Hayley Williams gives the best advice for anyone bullied for their appearance

Frances Bean Cobain became the subject of much speculation after her recent appearance at the Los Angeles, California, premiere of the new documentary Cobain: Montage of Heck.

The documentary, which chronicles the life of the late Nirvana musician Kurt Cobain, was produced by his daughter Frances Bean, among others, but instead of focusing on the film and the subjects that it touches, it was Frances Bean’s appearance that the media chose to comment on.

And Courtney Love’s daughter has found support in two influential musicians: Paramore’s Hayley Williams and Gerard Way, formerly of My Chemical Romance.

Way took to Twitter to write Frances Bean a message of encouragement.


To which Frances Bean replied, saying, “and snakes. F*** snakes. Just throwing it out there …”

Williams also tweeted Frances Bean, ridiculing those who don’t understand people who don’t dress in mainstream fashion.

It was a big night for Frances Bean, who, according to Billboard magazine, shared her feelings about the documentary with the Los Angeles crowd on the evening of April 21.

“After seeing it, I thought I could only watch it once. But the film that [director Brett Morgen] made — I didn’t know Kurt, but he would be exceptionally proud of it. It touches some dark subjects, but it provides a basic understanding of who he was as a human, and that’s been lost.”
