Prince Harry allegedly got shot down by one of America’s favorite actresses

Apparently Jennifer Lawrence would rather date music royalty than an actual prince.

According to the International Business Times, the Hunger Games star turned down the chance to go on a dinner date with Prince Harry.

A source for Life & Style explained, “[Harry] made his aide invite her out to dinner and coupled it with an invite for her to see Kensington Palace.”

But Lawrence politely declined the offer.

It could be that rather than disinterest, Lawrence is just being loyal to her current man. The actress is, after all, rumored to still be an item with Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin. And now that he and Gwyneth Paltrow have finalized their divorce, things might be getting more serious for the new couple.

But it’s unclear when, exactly, Prince Harry asked Lawrence out on the date. And did his romantic evening include travel plans?

Of course, if the rumors are true, Prince Harry has had his sights on Lawrence since 2013, according to Perez Hilton, and he isn’t going to let it go.

“Jennifer’s his number-one girl right now,” another source revealed. “Harry thinks Jennifer is a girl after his own heart — very chill and out for a good time. Harry is looking for a serious relationship and is ready to settle down. And the way he’s thinking right now, he could end up with a Hollywood wife.”

He definitely shouldn’t give up so easily. Lawrence clearly has a thing for English guys. Before dating U.K.-born Martin, she was in a long-term relationship with U.K. native, Nicholas Hoult.
