The biggest revelation from Dancing With the Stars‘ latest season is that Bruce Willis is a massive softie who hits us right in the feels. No one could have predicted this outcome.

Forget dancing, the most significant part of tonight’s episode of Dancing With the Stars was how downright adorable Bruce Willis was. The guy from Die Hard had us dying hard with his obvious love and pride for his daughter, Rumer. Seriously, we don’t know if we want to marry the guy or have him adopt us (we’re very reticent that it can only be one of those things).
Visiting his daughter during a rehearsal with her pro partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, this week, Bruce revealed himself to pretty much be the embodiment of the perfect parent.
“I’m very proud of her,” he said. “The most exciting thing for me was how she looked when she got done dancing and stepped off stage. I love seeing her happy like that. She makes me cry.”
Uh, no, Bruce, you’re making us cry.

Something else we love about this guy? He has absolutely no qualms about being known as “Rumer Willis‘ dad,” as opposed to Rumer being known as “Bruce Willis’ daughter.”
“Keep doing what you’re doing. You’re doing great,” he said. “You guys are doing great.”
Yeah, guys, keep doing what you’re doing. Because if you keep doing what you’re doing (i.e. dancing extremely well), you’ll likely stay on the show and that will give Bruce cause to make more appearances, which is very important to us.

And it seems we’re not the only ones who are loving us some Bruce Willis. His most recent appearance on DWTS seems to have spawned a whole new generation of fangirls, as well as bringing former fangirls out of hiding. It seems the ladies are really picking up what Bruce is putting down. Here’s what some of the good people on Twitter had to say about our newest old heartthrob.
